#### 1) Perimeter

Let h = 4 is your input, then
The perimeter of any n sided regular polygon is n*h.

a) Perimeter of Equilateral triangle          = 3 * 4  = 12. units
b) Perimeter of Square                            = 4 * 4  = 16. units
c) Perimeter of Regular Pentagon           = 5 * 4  = 20. units
d) Perimeter of Regular Hexagon            = 6 * 4  = 24. units
e) Perimeter of Regular Octagon            = 8 * 4  = 32. units
f) Perimeter of Regular n-sided polygon  = n * 4  = 4n. units
g) Circumference of a Circle with r = 3     = 2 (Pi) (r)
= 2 * 3 * (3.141592654)      using pi = 3.141592654
= 18.849555924 units.

#### 2) Area

Let h = 4 is your input, then
Area of n sided regular polygon is n (h^2) / 4 tan (180/n)

Area of Equilateral triangle = 3(4^2)/4 (tan 180/3)
= 3(16)/4(tan 60)
= 3(4)/(tan 60)   dividing N D by 4
= 12/(3^0.5)    multiply N and D by Root of 3
= 12(3^0.5)/3
= 4 (3^0.5)
= 6.92820323027551 Square Units.
In the same way, you can able to find the following values.

#### B) Square:

Area of Square  = 4(4^2)/4 (tan 180/4)
= 4(16)/4(tan 45)
= 4(4)/(tan 45)      using tan 45 = 1
= 16/1
= 16 Square Units.

#### C) Pentagon:

Area of Regular Pentagon = 5(4^2)/4 (tan 180/5)
= 5(16)/4(tan 36)
= 5(4)/(tan 60)  dividing N & D by 4
= 20/0.726542528   using tan 36 = 0.726542528
= 27.5276384096 Square Units.

#### D) Hexagon:

Area of Regular Hexagon = 6(4^2)/4 (tan 180/6)
= 6(16)/4(tan 30)
= 6(4)/(tan 30)              dividing N & D by 4
= 24/0.57735026919    using tan 30 = 0.57735026919
= 41.5692193816 Square Units.

#### E) Octagon:

Area of Regular Octagon = 8(4^2)/4 (tan 180/8)
= 8(16)/4(tan 22.5)
= 8(4)/(tan 22.5)  dividing N & D by 4
= 32/0.41421356237        using tan 22.5 = 0.41421356237
= 77.2548339965 Square Units.

#### F) n-sided polygon:

Area of Regular n-sided polygon = [n(4 ^ 2)]/4(tan 180/n). Square Units.

#### G) Circle:

Let r = 3 is your input, then
Area of a circle = Pi (r^2)
= 3.141592654 (3^2)            using pi = 3.141592654
= 3.141592654 (9)
= 28.274333886 Square Units.

#### A) Cube:

Let h = 4 is your input, then

The volume of a cube = h^3
= 4^3
= 64 Cubic Units.

Note: Surface area of cube = 6 (h^2)
= 6 * (4^2)
= 6 * 16
= 96     Square units

#### B) Sphere:

Let r = 3 is your input, then

Volume of a sphere = 4 (Pi) (r ^3)/3
= 4 * 3.141592654 * (3^3)/3            using pi = 3.141592654
= 4 * 3.141592654 * (27)/3
= 4 * 3.141592654 * (9)
= 113.097335544 Cubic Units.

Note: Curved Surface Area of a sphere = 4 * (Pi) * (r ^ 2 )            using pi = 3.141592654
= 4 * 3.141592654 * (3 ^ 2)
= 4 * 3.141592654 * (9)
= 113.097335544 Square Units.

#### C) Right circular cylinder:

Let r = 3 and h = 4 as your input in the software, then

Volume of a cylinder = (pi ) * (r ^ 2) * h
= 3.141592654 * (3 ^ 2) * 4            using pi = 3.141592654
= 3.141592654 * 9  * 4
= 3.141592654 * 36
= 113.097335544 Cubic Units.

Note: a) Curved Surface Area of a Cylinder = 2 * (Pi) * r * h             using pi = 3.141592654

b) Total Surface Area of a Cylinder = 2 * (Pi) * r * (r + h)      using pi = 3.141592654

= 42 * 3.141592654
= 131.946891468 Square Units.

#### C) Right circular Cone:

Volume of a Cone = [(pi ) * (r ^ 2) * h]/3
= [3.141592654 * (3 ^ 2) * 4]/3            using pi = 3.141592654
= 3.141592654 * 3  * 4
= 3.141592654 * 12
= 37.699111848 Cubic Units.

Note: a) Curved Surface Area of a Cone = (Pi) * r * l             using pi = 3.141592654
= 3.141592654 * 3 * 5

= 47.12388981 Square Units.

b) Total Surface Area of a Cone = (Pi) * r * (r + l)      using pi = 3.141592654

= 3.141592654 * 3 * (3 + 5)
= 3.141592654 * 3 * 8
= 75.398223696 Square Units.

c) Slant height of a Cone = [(r ^ 2) + (h ^ 2)] ^  0.5      using pi = 3.141592654
= [(3 ^ 2) + (4 ^ 2)] ^ 0.5
= [9 + 16] ^0.5
= [25] ^0.5
= 5  Units
